I took it to toyota dealerships for diagnostic, bad cat $3000 almost $4000 How are used prices in your area?. Took the car home removed cat and 2 o2 sensors up and down strim is doing the same. New tps same problem. Clean throttlebody No changes at all. Maf sensor clean. Coil pack, cables and spark plugs good. No check engine light no codes. Timing belt water pump done at 90k. I don’t know what to do should I risked and buy it from him or back out. In my research it can be several things.

So you removed the cat and it still won’t rev past 3000rpm?

Remove cat, drive around and no charge at all. No engine light at all 🤯

I can’t believe that 4runner sold for $17k!!! And it has 160k! Thats kind of high mileage for that price. It really shows these 3rd gens in great shape will be going up in value when they become true classics.
