Take your jumper cables and clamp one end of the negative cable to your Alt housing and clamp the other end to your neg post of the battery. To see if the voltage goes down. I’ve never seen a Denso internally regulated push more than 14.2v
To me your VR is failing, a connection or two inside the Alt cover are loose or it’s not sensing voltage properly from a bad ground or something.
