anybody know if addicted offroad is out of business?

I have called a couple of times and left messages.... no response. I order a tube bumper from them in July so... I know things are weird with supply chains...

wondering if I should start disputing the charges and try to get my money back. sigh.

Took around 3-6 months for me to get my hybrid bumper. Dude is super unresponsive, send him an email and wait a week or so. He will probably tell you it’s gunna ship in a month or something but might still be a ways out. He has great quality/looking products but he definitely needs help on the business side of things..

I received my tube bumper from AOR late April of this year. It took close to 3 months. I never attempted to get a hold of them due to the history of long lead times. Hope this helps.

3-6 months is ... a long time. Wow. Does he personally smelt the steel for each bumper?

I just received my bumper about 4-5 weeks ago from them. He told me 10 weeks and i got it in 14 weeks. he will not answer emails and does not answer the phone. it was only on the 13th week i finally sent him an irritated email he got back to me and said it was shipping. 3 more emails just to get the trk#.
Then when i got it, i had to drill out all of the holes because they weren't big enough and nothing lined up. So look forward to that as well.

Man that’s sucky. He said 12 weeks and I got it in 10. Didn’t have to drill any holes out either. I’ve honestly not had any issues with mine.

It does seem like a reoccurring theme lately that he is non responsive.

I see him posting on Instagram ALL the time though

Sounds like basically every small business that makes bumpers and sliders.

how the hell, do these places stay open???

Why do people keep sending them money, then complain about the long lead times?

4xInnovations seems to ship out sliders as soon as I hit the "order" button --- creepily fast.

^My experience as well with the plate bumper. Had to ping him at the 3 month mark, and only then got a tracking number.

Once I got the bumper, I had to enlarge some holes, and add some shims at the mounting points as the set up was too sloppy (some said you have to use a big sledge to get the crossmember to slip over the frame, mine had plenty of slop).

Also had grind out the opening for the fog lights that I paid extra for, because the opening wasn't big enough. Grinding 1/4" thick steel is not my idea of fun, especially not for a $1000+ bumper.

The finish where the welds were ground is less than impressive. I contemplated doing body work on it, but decided not to.

It's an attractive bumper, but customer service and workmanship could use a lot of help.

I actually didn't mind the long wait time (it was exactly at the far range of what was promised) - my only complaint is with the quality. I expected much more than what I got for the money. It's (almost) enough to make me want to make my own bumper .

I got a tracking email from fedex with of Riverton, WY but no contact otherwise yesterday.

I ordered on 07/24/2020

I don't need to hear from a seller... but it's nice to know if I did contact them they would get back to you? because as we know when things go wrong... and things go wrong more often than we all like to admit.... then you get that stone wall of silence.

because as far as I know they are the only place that makes a decent looking tube front for 3rd gens. who has been in biz for a long time now. most say they make a nice bumper.

Yes I could make my own but I don't own a tube bender... it's just... it is what it is I guess. I also don't mind 3-4 months of lead time. just when I do contact you? drop me a note. like yep your on the list and we will get to you.
