Tirerack.com has a lot of info on them.

I have Yokohama Geolandar G015 A/T tires in 255/75r17 (32.1”) on my 4R, not the M/T. I have been very happy with them year round. I now use 255/80r17 (33.1”) Toyo AT2s in the winter, but not because the Yokohamas were bad. I switch my wheels/tires every 3-4 months just because I have a few sets.

Apples to Oranges kind of, but since you are getting no love...

I have the Geolanders so somewhat related. As a highway tire I really like them. I would consider them similar to the Michelins. Drive nice and stable and quiet. Seem to be a quality tire. Absolutely would not consider them an AT tire but a good highway tire. Crap in winter though.

Seem to be a good brand, let us know what you think.

I've done a fair amount of research on them because they may be my next tire in 285/75r17. All of the reviews I can find everyone is saying they're awesome, but all under 10k total miles driven. I did see one on youtube had about 20K and he thought maybe they would get to 40k useable miles. I think thats decent for a mt. But as for as performance I saw almost all super positive reviews.

Buy em

I work for discount tire and get new mts every year (12 years worth). These so far have been the best I have ran thus far. Also have sold Alot to customers , all positive feed back.

How would you rate them for winter conditions? I'm coming from KO2's... better or worse? I need to get around on a lake that can be anywhere from bare ice to a couple feet of snow. The KO2's were OK, my buddies duratracs were better though.

Also, is the road noise tolerable?

In packed snow the ko2 is barely better and pretty much only when they're new. Deep snow the G003 is fantastic. Road noise is hardly a thing. Just as quiet as the ko2. Also will last longer than the ko2. Also the yoks balance really well. Fyi they do run wide due to the side tread.

I've got 5k on them at this point and tread is 19/32 on fronts and 20/32 on the rear.

May be also look into the Mickey Thompson ATZ P3. They are a true hybrid tire: as strong as MT and can get through actual mud, unlike KO2. No idea how it would compare to full MT in your conditions.

I use them in the desert and the CO mountains. They are at home in both environments. I know that's not your terrain but still.

I also know that the ATZ P3 is remarkably inoffensive on road. It has a premium compound vs the sibling Discoverer ST Maxx. I guess the benefits are chiefly felt on road as I have had none of the wandering complaints people have had about the ST Maxx.

Think i'm convinced to run with this tire.

On a side note, why don't they make 35's on a 16" rim? can find them for 15" and 17"..... but no 16"?

Tirerack says it’s a 34.8/12.0/16.

Are you looking for a truck tire that is actually called a 35/12.5/16, and not called, for example, a 315/75/16? (I’m not a truck tire expert.)

correct... I know it’s just labeling but it’s kinda odd it skips over 16” wheels.
