Auto window driver switch not working

My auto switch on my driverīs window does not work when pulling all the way up/down I have to manually press the button to operate it, Iīve tried to reset the window by fully pressing the switch (to engage auto) 5 seconds and fully pulling to close for 5 seconds, the auto light still blinking, am I missing something?

Try cleaning the switch. They get dirty and the contacts fail.

Pop out the driver's side switch assembly with the bezel (pops out straight up, use a plastic scraper so as not to scratch it). Then remove the switch assembly from the bezel and disconnect the wiring. If you have the brown limited trim with the wood, you might want to stop here as it has a tendency to break. Black is fine. Remove the switch assembly and you'll see the button cover and how it comes off. Pop off the switch cover to expose the metal contacts. Carefully clean these on both sides and on the cover if need. Reassemble and test your windows.

Get yourself a can of DeoxIT D5 great stuff, found it at Guitar Store.
I cleaned my window switches without having to disassemble switch, remove from door, remove switches from bessel, spray into any opening to internals of switch. Did same on Wiper & Turn stalk.
