I need some Japanese text translated!!!
Hi guys, I posted a thread the other day for Gen 3 4Runner back door gas pistons and the difference between them... but I just found out that there is an additional part number.
As my Japanese is not great, could someone here translate it for me? I kinda translated it partly for some of the numbers but am not sure how much I can trust google translate. Especially for technical terminology.
Thanks & here is the pic from ToyoDIY

If you find someone who doesn't read Japanese but wants to help you research, it would be easier for them if you could copy/paste the text rather than a picture. That way, they can also copy/paste as needed.

You are right!

Now my understanding is that some pistons are for when you have a Surf/4Runner that has the spare tire under the frame or mounted to the back door. But I would like to be sure!
Also the 10 and 20 are part numbers for US, while the 30 and 40 are for JAPAN market!

Excellent! Thank you very much! I will see if I can get my hands on a set for a back door with a carrier on it. I assume that they can carry the heavier door due to the lock plate, spoiler with mirror, license plate bezel and bigger handle garnish.
Thanks again!

If you don't have any luck finding those, then I recommend these: Amazon.com: Qty (2) Fits 4Runner 1996 To 2002 Liftgate Lift Supports (Models With Added Ladder): Automotive
They're aftermarket, but they are cold spec and for additional weight on the hatch.

Google translate app helps a bunch too - use your phone and point it at the text and it does a surprisingly good job. I have used it on JDM wiring diagrams, etc.

I use google translate often... probably my favorite tool when importing components and parts and looking at instructions from different countries that dont have an English version.
I just tried it with the above text and it got me close enough to figure it out, but it wasn't perfect.

I would get them, but my Runner is all the way in Bulgaria and Amazon's shipping rate and then border/customs taxes are gonna bring the price to OEM price. And import taxes here are not anything like US import rates, where a parcel from Japan comes directly to my door in the US without questions asked, while here I have to go to customs and border post office to explain what i am receiving, prove the prices I have bought it for, let them verify everything, and pay import and state taxes. The PITA sometime can take from a whole day's wait to a week, depending on how much stuff you are importing.
LONG LIVE US!

Where was this app 15 to 20 years ago when I had to repair Swiss and German saw filling machines. Their drawings and PLC programs were never in English.

Hey this helped a lot! But if it isn't too much to ask again for a translation of this: it is a dash lamp on some Surfs. I can not track what feature it is for. I tried the app, but it couldnt see it clearly.
Could it be an indicator for oil cooler feature or some accelerated heater?
Thanks
Pavel
Here is a diagram with the text circled in red and the link to it.
