High Beam indicator on dash not working.

Hey everyone!! I put LED head light bulbs in my wife's 99 4runner. About a month later the indicator light on the dash for the high beam quit working. I pulled the dash and the bulb is good. I even tried the cluster out of a parts 4runner and still not work. Where do I look next?? Any help would greatly appreciated!!
Randy

Mostly the high beam indicator goes out immediately after installing the led bulbs.

What happens is that indicator uses the element of the halogen light bulbs low beam to active the high beam indicator. Being LED only allow current to flow one way. The indicator will not work.

We have a few threads if you search for them showing ways to make your high beam indicator work again if the bulbs are the issue.

Yup, its the bulbs. The low beam filament is used as a ground to light the high-beam indicator. So, use halogens or put in an appropriate load resistor.
