Brake fluid flush before or after the Tundra upgrade?

I have a 2001 4Runner I'm about to do the Tundra brake upgrade on. The guy I bought it from said he never flushed the brake fluid - and I believe him based on the color of it. So in addition to the TBU, I'll be flushing the fluid. Should I do this before or after the front is complete? Any advice is appreciated.

I would flush first just so you aren't pushing nasty old fluid through your new calipers, also brake fluid is pretty cheap

Definitely flush out the stale brake fluid before doing the upgrade for reasons as mentioned by RandyBobandy.
Might want to keep an eye on the 19yo rubber brake lines breaking down on the inside and coloring the clean brake fluid. My brake fluid kept cleaner longer after changing out the 3 lines. Firming up the brakes with new lines were a bonus.
