Does this bolt up to both two-cat (aka Cali.) and one-cat Federal systems? Sorry if it was covered in the middle of the thread, but I didn't feel like reading the whole thing. The website says nothing about the issue.

Pretty sure the flange will be in the right place on either.
I just received my tracking info.
I do have a question: are they shipping with flange gaskets? I also assume we are to re-use the bolts? Reason I ask is that, although I have been blessed with a nearly rust-free example of a 4Runner, what little rust there is, every fvkin bit of it has congregated on the flange bolts. They are soaking in PB but wondering if they will come apart as designed or will i drill out and replace.....

Yes, there's a flange included for the cat end. The rest of the exhaust is clamped. The O2 sensor does not have a seal with this kit. No hardware outside of the rear mount for the frame.

Brrrroooooo...
That rear hitch frame bolt that the bracket goes into is a major PITA! Half of my install time was trying to figure out how to get the bolt back in, lol. The nut wasn't lined up very well and the bracket is cut a little too long, so you have to hammer down the side of the hitch frame slightly to get the clearance for everything to bolt back up. Not only that, but the bolt is connected to the next one down via some kind of strapping, so I had to break that loose so I could move the other nut into a better position to get the bracket bolted in. I think the part that was the most annoying was the insane amount of rust and dirt that was pouring out every time I moved things around!
Word to the wise: bend out the heat shield on the outer side before putting in the new system if you're going to be using the resonator. Mine was hitting the shield ever-so-slightly when I was shaking everything while checking clearances.
It's definitely a bit louder than stock, but it sounds awesome!!! I'm glad I got in on this GB!

For those who missed out on the group buy but are still interested in a kit, I've created a discount code for the kit if you are a t4r member. Use code "MT4R" at checkout for some savings.
Please be aware that there is still some "build time" right now. Magnaflow says they are finally building up stock but if there is a huge influx of orders I could see them falling behind a couple of weeks.

For those of you with the deckplate mod, I prefer to leave my capped. I had it off until I just went to lunch and the sound of the exhaust is much more smooth and not so "my exhaust rotted off" sound.

It does. Mine is Cali emissions and I have the long pipe leftover that I didn't use for the 50-staters.

So, I'm somewhat new to exhausts and was curious if the "hollow" sound coming from the bend around the rear crossmember is normal? Will it dissipate over time? I'm already noticing the cabin noise mellowing out, so I'm hopeful that this, too, will diminish because it sounds louder than anything else right now.

That's what I wanted to hear. The picture looks like just Federal. Thanks, guys.

Got my kit installed over the weekend. Nice fit and finish, truly bolt on. Great sound. No drone. I have the resonator installed now, will try without it soon. Happy with it for sure, thanks SRQ & Magnaflow!
Two observations:
1. The 180 deg bend from muffler to resonator is slightly over bent making for tight clearance between resonator and muffler. No contact even after shaking everything good, but still.
2. I have a single cat 4runner. The first pipe has the O2 sensor bung in the 'wrong' orientation. Instead of being almost vertical like OEM at 12-1 o'clock, it's fully horizontal at 3 o'clock. I hope this doesn't cause any moisture/water/condensation issues.

Hey I just put mine together and realized that the resonator is what has a angle to it. I was able to rotate it 180 degree and it is perfectly straight.

I have Cali emissions and was curious if the longer pipe will allow to delete the 2nd cat? I'm in a state that doesn't require two cats..Thoughts?
