Thanks for the reply... I cancelled the Borla order.. I think i like this better. I am still looking for many videos that show what it sounds like. Plenty of fords and Rams around here will me a lot louder than i'll be. I'm not worried.. thank you for the reply.

My Kit just arrived yesterday.
I wont be getting it on until next week. Just have to go through all of the sound files and decide on which is best for my neighbors and me. I think i might be the only Sod in my complex who actually cares about noise.
I can't wait..

Still loving mine, and I do not think it's too loud. Louder than my old TRD exhuast on my previous 3rd gen 4Runner, but quieter than my 4th gen with a stock exhaust and Magnaflow 21" muffler.

This is replacing my TRD

Exit was also modified to turn down above frame rail just behind rear wheel. Cut at the NW swingout rear bumper bracket. Pics below.
Very happy with this setup.

First of all, your truck is awesome.
Were you able to just cut out a straight section to add in the Vibrant resonator, or did it require any additional bending or changes to the MF exhaust? Same question for the section after the resonator, did you just rotate it above the frame rail and chop it off? I've also got the NW rear bumper (no body lift though) so this might be a good approach for me too.

I love mine too.
I had it installed without the resonator. This the way it's going to stay. I don't think it's loud at all.. compared to what all else is running around. it's perfect.

No resonator installed, stock headers. The sound is perfect, have always enjoyed the sound and loudness(its not loud). No drone either.

So is the general consensus that this is a well worth it upgrade? I’m on the fence and have a lead on one currently & my oem exhaust is pretty worn out

Happy with mine, especially at the Group Buy price. Can't really go wrong if you need to replace a 20 year old stock exhaust - you have 3 user-selectable exhaust notes available: Resonator installed, J-tube installed and capped, capped muffler (what I ended up with). 4th option for maniacs - open muffler. If you don't have rust issues the install is a breeze.

Have semi rust issues so we will see there haha, but yeah I think I’m gonna bounce on it, local guy selling it for a good discount. So you did all 3? Capped muffler, j tube and resonator?

The factory exhaust droned pretty bad on the Interstate. I used the full resonator setup for a 1000 mile family road trip and it was very civilized sounding to my ear. Would do it again - it's so easy to swap in/out, but my family won't be road-tripping in my rig again - they are too tall. Upon return I just capped the 2nd muffler outlet and embraced the growl. I've had a few free flowing V8s and this is nothing obnoxious. I live in a city and like to bounce sound off walls.....it's dog eat dog out there.
Hit your flange bolts with PB Blaster or whatever for a couple days first!
