How do Eibachs/5100s hold up with an ARB bumper?

I currently have a Eibachs and 5100s up front. 5100s currently on lowest setting but will be bumping them
up one notch soon.

Next year I want to get an ARB bumper. Will these
coils (~550lb spring rate, right?) hold up the bumper well enough?

I do not have an ARB bumper, but I think I may be able to help (some!).

I do run Eibach/5100 on the front of my truck, set to the second-from-top perch, and 1/4" top plate spacers.

My weight:
I have the OEM fat-lip bumper, hidden winch mount, Warn 10k lb winch, heavy shrockworks radiator and engine skids up front.
  • OEM bumper- weighed in at 20.5lbs
  • Winch and winch plate- weighed 94lb
  • Shrockworks Rad and Eng skids- 55lb
Total weight: 169lb

An ARB bumper weighs 160lbs if I remember correctly? If you're running an ARB bumper with factory skids, no winch, etc, it'll be about the same as me.

The truck handles well, but if you're planning on heavy skids and a winch along with that ARB bumper, I would not do 5100's/Eibach. In fact, you might as well go for some heavier OME front springs. You really aren't going to want to run those 5100's on the highest perch, and you probably don't want to stick in 1/4" spacers. Might as well get the heavy springs and it will probably drive better since they're made for the weight.
