wish it was that simple. called the wrecking yard it was taken too...they dont have it..said insurance company auctioned it off and its gone. Called progressive...the insurance company....they said it was auctioned off and they dont know where it is now and then sent me back to the first one. not many yards up here, called them and they said they dont have it. one said maybe but officially they dont have it , said it takes weeks to get from insurance company, and if they have it cant touch till company lets go,,,so bs answer.

wohoo, I dont hae a trasnponder lock out, or its bypassed by auto start. got a key cut today, started and ran no problem. so then I took suspected chip key and put it inside house. took new key...started right up. glad I dont have to deal with that chip crap

@3bears , Congrats on the find quirks n all, got back in the fold quick, ha.
The AWD is better than others, push n go no matter road conditions. Lock the center diff then like older version road conditions matter.
Things to know/remedy: With winter in swing mud n snow VSC will get you stuck, keeps you from powering out at times.
Andy Mod I'd say gona be a plus for you, more drivetrain options.
Worn suspension/lifting at some point VSC needs recalibration two procedures, get's over sensitive.
New design quad channel M/C, Bleeding brakes procedure different if/when time comes.
Food for thought living way out there, nice place to be, VSC module and Master Cylinder problems do pop up, worth keeping in mind.
