Best LED fog light bulbs?

Does anyone know which LED bulbs (H3) work best in 3rd Gen fog lights? The fact that they are projector housing seems to cause most LED bulbs to not actually project much light onto the road because the LED diodes aren't in the exact same spot as the filament in the halogen bulbs, so the projector lens isn't grabbing the light correctly.

Has anyone here installed some that actually shine light onto the road?

And it's for this exact reason it is illegal. Not all light is the same.

Nothing close to a halogen H3 output-wise and fitment. Anything with a large heatsing and/or fan would require chopping up the bottom cover piece of the light assembly and the "bulb" section itself would probably contact the foglight's reflector.

I've used HID bulbs on them before, but make sure to get the shorter H3C type as the longer bulbs won't fit.

In the stock reflector housing or a projector?

The fog lights. Results aren't bad since they sit so low and are a projector design, but I took the assemblies out to work on the rusted up adjusters and haven't reinstalled them LOL

A good point to be noted is that it's widely agreed upon by many ~3500K is the best color temp for fog lights, which is right in line with halogens anyways
