Merry Christmas! (What did you get for your truck?)

Just wanted to start by saying that I hope you guys have an awesome and safe Christmas!

Now...let's begin

Did you get yourself any truck related items for chstimas? What was it? Why? How much did your wallet cry?

Myself, I ordered King shocks and the Light racing UCA's. I wanted the best ride and was sick of the previous setup. My wallet? It died... Haha

I ended up getting a handful of items. The new Magna flow cat back exhaust system, bx built headlights, RCI skid plate and aftermarket sway bar links.. New exhaust because I've been looking for an aftermarket option for a while and the group buy discount seemed like a great deal. New headlights because I cant see shit when it's dark and raining. Bx built also had a great black Friday deal. . New skit plate since my oem one is a little rusted and rubs against my front diff with the diff drop installed. New sway bar links to try to balance her out better.

My wallet is definitely hurting but I got some good discounts with black Friday. Can't wait for everything to start shipping though!

Happy holidays to everyone.

Been collecting parts for a bit, but will start installing soon:

Magnaflow exhaust through the group buy
BXBuilt conversion
Dobinson 210v rear springs
Tokico black rear shocks
Rear link set from Front Range Off Road
Full skids from Front Range Off Road
Timing belt kit
Valve cover gaskets and all associated pieces
JBA upper control arms
Whiteline lower bushings

Need to get a gas tank skid, and start building my front and rear bumpers. Hopefully by summer, I'm ready to rock with a whole different 4Runner!

Not sure what blends from just getting this manual Limited up and running vs Christmas, some was definitely gifts for my wife (her vehicle)...

Lseat new leather and seat heaters
Window vent shades
Quarter glass American flag decals

I have kids and a pretty crazy Christmas light show... the 4Runner isn't what makes the bank cry

I have some Kings coming. Also got the new Opt Offroad rear links. Definitely the beefiest arms on the market. Got some Eimkeith lower link and strut tower reinforcement plates coming. Plan on ordering the Opt Offroad reinforced lower control arms sometime soon so I can get this all installed in the spring.

4xInnovations Sliders
SR5 "5 star" 16's painted dark grey.

Getting a grille from a 99 to paint and put on my 01 Limited. The chrome is just gone on the Original grille, so I'm going to do a little upgrade.

Shoot it might be too late, but I'll tell you that I really don't care for my RCI skid. I originally got it because they were the only company that also had skids for the lower control arms... But after I got it on and everything I realized that it barely covers the radiator and stuff.

Just my two cents haha

Man the valve cover gaskets are not fun at all. I wish you Christmas magic and luck on those! Haha

Morimoto headlights and fog lights were my Christmas splurge. I’ve got a Diode Dynamics brake as turn signal module and high output dual LED reverse light kit in the mail as well.

Hmm. Definitely not something i wanted to hear haha. I basically went with them cause they provided it powder coated at a still reasonable price. You are talking about the stock radiator? How close it is?

I was curious, so I looked for a pic - https://www.bilsteinlifts.com/wp-con...ta-4Runner.jpg - This one shows it pretty well. Definitely could see that being a problem. My stock skid covers more than that!!!

I can take a photo tonight if you like. It might not bother some guys...but it bothers me.

Also...their lca skids don't even fit the truck without cutting. I spoke to someone at rci and they weren't really any help. I mean the quality of the skids and the welds are supreme, I will give them that, but the end product still lives something to be desired.

I've been waiting to pick out a different skid, still haven't picked one yet.... And then I bought kings.....so.... Yeah lol
