I'd recommend 4xInnovations rear bumper. Very tried and true, I'd say it's the oldest swingout bumper on the market. It's heavy, but beyond that I see no major downsides, and even that one is debatable for protection-sake. It's also very affordable. I installed mine about a month ago, super stoked and happy with it.

I too have had issues with SRQ.
Ordered springs for my lift, waited and waited. Had to email them to see when they would ship. Was told they'll ship "end of the week" etc.
Took a full month for them to ship. I was going to cancel since the order hadn't even been picked but they have a ridiculous cancellation policy (15%).
Finally when the order shipped it was into black friday so I asked if I could at least get the BF pricing, was told no, can't do that. Never once was I apologized to.
I'll do my best to avoid purchasing from them in the future.

It's plastered all over the site that the 5100/OME lift kit has had and still has major backorders. ARB (OME) was closed for 6 weeks and had no inventory in the USA for almost 8 months. Bilstein is still struggling and we were supposed to have hundreds of shocks here last week and now they are saying the end of January. I know you already received your kit but I figured I'd trying to explain what it's like getting parts in 2020/2021.
When we talk to customers about when lift kits are going to be shipping, it's all based on what the manufacturers tell us, we aren't purposefully trying to mislead anyone. I wish we were the size of companies like Wheelers, Toytec, etc. that has pull with these manufactures but we can't even get Bilstein to pick up a call from us.
Anyways, sorry about the issues with your order and hope you give us a chance to make it right in the future.

"Plastered" all over your site huh? I ordered two sets of springs, both of which show in stock. The only place I see "backordered" is for the 5100 shocks. I wouldn't call that plastered.
I understand supply issues but then don't show them as in stock. And if they aren't in stock, at least give a courtesy email saying so. If I knew you didn't have them in stock, I would have ordered from elsewhere from the beginning

All OME springs are in stock now which is why they say in stock. We got shipments in right before the New Year that we ordered in August. It looks like you ordered 861 springs which were the absolute worst of the backorders as ARB normally doesn't even stock them in their warehouses.
I'm not trying to argue with you and I am truly sorry that you were unhappy with your experience. Like I said in the above comments to other people, feel free to PM me and I will do what I can to rectify any issues.

I definitely like that one as well. It is a little cheaper, but damn it’s definitely heavier. I really the molle panel that’s on the true north one..... Hard decisions.

Ordered from SRQ. Got the rear plate bumper and the full length swing out during black friday sale time. The bumper arrived after the normal lead time, swingout took another 3 weeks. Was no told it would arrive separately so I was a little surprised. Customer service answered my questions and once the parts got here I got to work.
I was able to get the whole rear plate bumper fabd up today. It fits perfect. My only complaint is the gap from the rear or the vehicle around the hatch latch. It's no big deal, but I seems that making the bumper fill that space would be such an easy change in design that it almost seems lazy (unless I'm missing something). All parts are laser cut and they fit together great.
No issues from srq regarding missing pieces so far. Il finish the welding and swingout tomorrow then I'm sending the bumper off to get powdercoated.
The bumper looks great, and the fitment was great on my 4runner. Love the added clearance and the higher receiver!! No tow rating legally, but as long as you use continuous welds and are a capable welder using the correct settings I don't see an issue with utilizing the same oem limits as a guideline. This is an opinion and not advice. The bumper mounting structure is more reinforced than the OEM receiver anyways.

Finished up. Good kit.
Was missing 4 nuts that attach the locking mechanism to the bumper, and they mismatched the hardware for for spare tire mount so I now have 1 correct thread pitch stud and 2 incorrect thread pitch studs for the lug nuts. It's already welded and painted and I didn't check the lugs until today because I figured it would all be correct..little frustrating.
Il probably just get correct nuts to match the "Wrong" thread and deal with it. Won't be taking it off often anyways.
Overall though, 9/10 .hardware was a little frustrating but the fitment is great . If I designed my own I'd make the equipment panel wider to make full use of the space.

I haven't gotten a ton of things but the few things I have gotten the process was smooth. They usually say up front if its going to be a long wait so I go into it, knowing that. I had one part fail and without a hitch they sent another one out immediately, no questions asked.

Anyone with the 4th gen Rear bumper HYBRID bumper?
Anyone with the 4th gen Rear bumper HYBRID bumper?
I am looking for more information on it from actual users, but it looks quite simple and more aesthetic then anything else I have seen so far.

You're in the 3rd gen section so I think it's safe to say that no one here has it.

Just curious, do you have any issues with the rear swing out rattling? Mine seems to rattle over bumps from the hinge. It gets better when tighten the hinge bolt, but always comes back after I’ve opened it a few times.

Not here to badmouth SRQ/TNF at all, but they have certainly been having difficulty keeping up with orders and adhering to lead times since Black Friday. Also, TNF has had staff shortages/illness issues adding to welding delays. They are 'working on new capabilities to make waits shorter going forward'. Just passing along what they've told me and stuff I heard from a couple of friends. Still a customer.

Long lead times are the new trend in the aftermarket industry. Gone are the days of placing an order and it showing up two days later.
Most companies like SRQ have no control over lead times since the parts are being drop shipped from the manufacturer.
I placed a large order on Black Friday and waited 4-5 months before I started receiving parts of my order.
That being said, SRQ answered all my inquiries within a day of me reaching out and helped with any questions I had. Even after the sale, they answered my emails and have made an attempt to help me with my rattle.

True - I've been seeing that as well. In the case of SRQ/TNF I believe they are either co-located or have some other extra-tight relationship in the same town/county. There is 'in-stock' gear out there if you shop carefully. Luckily, I don't have a big purchases on the horizon - just odds and ends.
