Has anyone successfully done the swap on a late model 3rd gen (01-02) and kept all the emissions crap intact, with no CELs? All the F150 tank swaps I've seen documented have been on early model 3rd gens, or on strictly off-road vehicles where the rules are made up and the points don't matter.
I want to shoehorn a Ford tank into my '02 which has the BBQ box above where the spare used to sit. I'm still aiming for the rig to be street legal and pass local emissions as needed (based in MD). I have some rough ideas about how to accomplish this, but hoping someone else has had the joy of working through this first.
