My advice would be to only use a 5 point harness with a rollcage.

I don’t plan to install a harness bar as I don’t plan on trashing this rig on hard core trails.

To be honest, there’s nothing wrong with the stock seats... but after 100k need to consider redoing cushion and upholstery. I’d rather put that money to upgrade the seats entirely. Superior hold. Superior comfort. Superior materials. The Vorgas lower seat position by over an inch. Makes it much easier to get in and out of the rig. Very happy with this upgrade.

Yes. The Hilux 185 JDM Bride brackets are a perfect fit for US 3rd gen 4runners.

Aww man, I almost picked up a pair of these to use in my 4R a few months ago, but instead got a pair of 2017 WRX seats. And they are not an easy install, have been working on it for weeks and just got the passenger side done... ish.
