Installing a TRD Pro from 5th gen into my '97

Hiya fellas,

I scored a complete take off suspension from a 5th gen TRD pro but I'm worried about too much lift with wonky front steering. Would this suspension yield too much lift you think?

This 3rd gen is for my daughter who doesn't even drive yet but I'm hiding it at a friend's house and work on when I can sneak it in! So, this won't be a rock crawler or anything but I did buy a set of Pathfinder 265 75 16s over the weekend.

I'm sure this has been done but not sure if I'm using the correct search string.

Thank you for your inputs or links/pics/etc.

Thanks for the link, it was very helpful.

It sounds like the rear coils will yield almost a 3" of lift but the front strut is a no go. This is good info.
