Here you go, and you don't even need to leave the house. My dealer always throws in a paper covered aluminum washer, although I'm sure I payed for it somehow. Gotta be careful with "more" claimed filtration, if it filters to well you might lose oil pressure or have delayed oil pressure on startup, Toyotas/Japan vehicles have very low oil pressure at idle, or if equipped it could bypass the filter, some filters also have cheap anti drain back valves again making for slow build up of oil pressure, some have cold weather/clogged filter bypasses, and some cheap filters use plastic cages inside to hold the filter media, but I'm sure most quality filters mentioned work just as good as OEM. You know what they say, your engine gets the most wear at startup, and considering what Toyota has at stake I assume they made the best choices for our application through R&D using the best materials.

The only thing an aftermarket filter could offer is filtration that is BETTER than what Toyota recommends. So your gain is what?
The OEM filters also use a real o-ring which is much better at sealing and the o-ring comes pre-lubed. For those reasons alone, it is worth it!

I'd still be willing to use a Purolator or Bosch oil filter, but my two Toyotas can use the same filter, so I just keep the D3 filter in stock on the garage...

My local Walmart has the OEM Filters in stock which is nice to know. I have been using STP Filters and they have been great.
