Rub,,RuB'..too Late Fenders Floppin

My 2000' Limited rides High , so I put 285s on ,,and drove gently ,,bought a 3' Lift ..Lift shows up.. Lifts not goin on till Spring ;) ..we get Dumped on with Snowfall.. Backed up my Curb and over a 3 1/2 ft Drift.. - WHAACK,, Tire hits the Lower Front Fender' ,, the Drivers side Fender is 'now" - Flappin down Low ;P .. but this thing just REVERSE" -Crawled thru a 3 1/2 foot Drift ! ! in AWD' .. not even Locked into 4wD.. with 2 Worn Mastercraft Coursers' on the rear and NEW" Iron Man" Muds on the front .. Incredible.. This Trucks a Beast .. Im the 2nd owner.. I paid $1400bux for it with 189,000 Im Lovin it ..and LOOKIN for a Early 5th GEN !.. Third GENS Rule !

285s will rub unless you have a 3in suspension lift and 1in body lift at the very least. Some still advise tubbing firewalls with this combo as you're likely to contact while flexing. Looks like those tires are pretty bald so remember it's only going to get MUCH worse with new ones.
Also AWD =/= 4WD.

I had 285s on my previous 4runner with only a toytec 3" lift and I had absolutely no rubbing whatsoever. No modification as well. Wheels were 8" wide with -12mm offset.

3' inch Lift is on..waitin on my diff-spacers..the damage' is done" im a Bodyman..no problem..ive already done sum Hammering on the inner wheelweels....ill get a 1 inch Body-lift on for 35s eventually
