I was going to cry foul on why a plain jane supercharged 4Runner will peeling paint would EVER go for $21K, until I saw it was a manual. If these prices keep going up, I may have to think about selling mine... It's a unicorn for sure.
I thought about it, but realized nothing could replace it. In fact, I was in the market for another one for a family member and the regular ones are going for so much nowadays.
I made a post a year ago about upping my insurance policy for a new agreed upon value and lots of folks were saying mine wasn't worth more than X. I tried to tell them it wasn't about the current sale value, just what a fair figure would be for insurance replacement value. LOL... I'm glad I made the change since it looks like I can easily get 2 times that figure.
I have a built up 00 Limited SC... with 205k miles. All current maint, new CVs, seals, etc... It literally looks new (inside and out). I've gotten some crazy offers for it and still can't get myself to sell it.
Keep yours... we should all keep ours, esp 98-00 years and esp with lockers, rust free and if you have SC.
The only problem is I want to put this one away and off-road with another "beater" 4runner since this has gone up in value since I've bought it. It think mint condition, well optioned ones are soon going to be in LC territory.

Wow $21,800 for 177K 4runner! It doesn't even have factory CV's and exhaust, missing front skid plate, Rockauto invoices: Based on these figures, mine which is naturally aspirated, A/T with All factory parts should be better (quality/reliable) than this 22K 4runner!
After I did bushings all around, took it to an alignment: A tech there looked at the truck and said it still looks NEW!! The truck is 24 years old!
