I've owned the '97 SR5 for 11 years and put 48,000miles on it. Currently has 222,xxx.
It's been through all conditions on road and off. I've never seen the check engine light.
Three years ago I bought the '98 Limited because it was too dirt cheap to pass up. It's supposed to be for my -now- 15 year old. I drive it pretty much everyday on a 3 mile neighborhood loop to go get the mail. 225,xxx on that one.

Purchased in summer of 2003 for about $25K. It had about 24K miles on it when I bought it. So coming up on 18 years. It's so reliable that I've become attached to it and cannot bring myself to part with it. There are worse things to be attached to, I guess.

22 years as of this coming June. No other mechanic has touched it, other than alignment, and almost no one else has driven any of the 200k miles.

I have had my 02 since 2014. But I had a 99 limited before that for about two years. So I guess 2012. Oh and I just bought another one this month

He's probably just wondering?
I bought my 97 SR5 5 years ago with 279306 miles on it. It just hit 350100 miles yesterday. the only thing I've had to replace is the tps.

19 years.....Bought my '02 in '05 with about 60k. 2 years ago i gave it to my son when he turned 16 - has over 320,000 miles on it and is in great shape. Maintenance and tender loving care is the key.

2015 with 200k km now 245k km. Probably keep it until someone makes a good hybrid or electric frame on body suv. Hoping Toyota makes a gen 6 that is modeled after the gen 3.

i will be the odd guy, Ive only owned this one for 3 months, and if it does not start behaving itself, it will go away and I will find another 3rd gen.
Otherwise, last one for about 6 years ( totaled). Love these things. Best truck I have owned, that says a lot, ive owned lots of rigs, domestic and import.
