VIP RS3000 Alternative Keyfob / Remote

Im having the old original two button keyfob wich is partially destroyed, before going through the sourcing of its replacement i stopped by a tiny keyshop and they tried to program me a new one which failed.. long story short we tried just for sake of trying a chinese one in the shop and it went just fine thus im sharing it.

Key is this:
Xhorse XEFO01EN Super Remote Key Ford Flip 4 Buttons Built-in Super Chip English 5pcs/lot

note.. it only locks / unlocks no rear window roll down available, i still didn't explore what else it could do but as long as it locks/unlocks its fine with me

Interesting.
I see a single remote is around $20 shipped on ebay.
Was it a simple process to program?

yes,, process was simple,, just pushed the green button on the RS3000 and registered this one.
they had a hand-held device of Xhorse to catch the signal from the old remote then to inject it into this one, but we didnt needed it.

I tried programming the Xhorse at the w/e. with no dice. Was able to do so with a second black RS 3000 remote so it isn't the ECU. The max number of permissible remotes is 4 and I now have 2 registered on the ECU.
OP can you double check the part number again please. It's got me thinking why this one is suitable for a Fords and not Yota's.
I await your response before engaging a specialist.
Thanks

The key/remote in the initial post does not work with either the 3000 or 3200. I bought one on the recommendation of the OP (clown) only to find out from X-Horse in China it is for more modern vehicles that have a transponder.

XHorse tech. support informed me they produce 4 different types: wired, wireless, super remote and smart key. The XE is a super remote. The RS 3000+3200 support a wired or a wireless type only. Apparently any style from their XK range will work but that ship has sailed as far as I'm concerned.

Another key for probably RS3200

Hi,, regardless the controversy on this topic my friend who is having 2002 4Runner just programmed an xHorse key and works fine.

Xhorse XNBU01EN Wireless Remote Key Buick Flip 4 Buttons English 5pcs/lot

One press on the button unlocks drivers door only.
Double press on the button and unlocks all doors.
Rear window rolls down as well. (but of course not closing)

My understanding of these aftermarket remotes is that the XHorse seller has to "generate" the remote with a VVD key prior to end user following the VIP 3000/3200 programming instructions. I was also told that online sellers are not permitted to do this and you have to visit a an XHorse affiliated locksmith to do this step as the VVD key tool is peculiar to them only. Can you confirm this was the case?

yes.. that was the case.
there is many key shops here (no regulations) and we just go and they configure the key / copy it somehow.
