factory elocker actuator replacement

has anyone had to replace their factory rear locker actuator, what did you replace it with? oem or aftermarket (part number if possible)?

are there any other models that have the same actuator that can be used as a used replacement?

You might be able to just disassemble, clean and re-grease the actuator. Mine quit working and I was able to get it working again with just that. If not, then rockauto sells an Aisin actuator, Aisin is the supplier for lots of Toyota parts but I'm not sure if they are for the actuator specifically.

Toyota used the same actuator for all elockers (I believe even the elocker is the same and yet to change). It's actually a very frequently stolen part, since it can be taken off a differential very quickly without the car ever noticing.
