PRP Seats in 3rd Gen- Whos done it?

Well i finally got tired of the beat down factory seats and ended up ordering some PRP Enduro Recliner seats and some of their 95-04 Taco seat brackets to modify as needed to fit them into my 4runner.

From reading about people swapping taco seats and 4runner seats back/forth, it seems that there are some differences in at least 1 foot but it should be doable fairly easily.

Has anyone done the same? How much did you have to modify them? Hows your seating position? Have any photos?

Any other paths of least resistance to take as opposed to using the PRP brackets? Decided to give this route a go since they appear to be far better built than the other alternatives like Corbeau etc.

Also, anyone have a source for plugs/pins for the factory connectors under the seat? I did order seat heaters and am planning on wiring them into the factory limited switches. Would be nice to just utilize whats there and pin out the seat to match.

I'm thinking about buying some prp seats myself. I sat in some at an off-road expo, compared to mastercraft they seemed worth the extra cost. Did they fit? How hard was it to modify the brackets?

I reworked the OEM seat rails to work with the PRP seats, also removed the OEM seat floor board mounting bracket

Were the oem seat rails you used manual or motorized? Why did you remove floor board mounting bracket?

Manual.

I was already having to rework the floor boards on both the pass and driver side to clearance an Atlas Tcase (driver) and exhaust (pass), to maintain low vehicle ride height while keeping the drive-train and suspension from hanging low. The seats I have require the use of a 5-point harness which require a center mounting point between ones legs (the front support gets in the way of properly creating this point. With all that said I would still have removed this and built my own brackets because that gives u more freed to put the seat where u want it and set the seat height (but I tend to build what I can even if there r available items on the market)..
