Mysterious Switch?
A few days ago, while driving, my left foot was resting against the left wall of the (for lack of a better term) "gas pedal area" when it kept hitting what turned out to be a small, silver switch. I've never seen this switch before and have no clue what its for. I tried switching it several times, but nothing noticable happens. Does anyone know what this is?

I found that same switch when i was installing my body lift. I have no idea what it is for. Noting happened when i was switching it.

security system maybe?

its most likely a bypass switch from an old alarm.

Probably for an alarm or remote starter.
See where it goes and you'll most likely find the answer.

I have a similar switch in the same spot. Turned out to be the "Valet" mode for my security system

Same thing happened to me weeks after buying another 3rd gen, turns out it was for an aftermarket remote start. Could be a possibility
