Trans replacement and parts I'm swapping on the way

I ended up going with a Jasper reman transmission

It was about the same cost as the local rebuild but comes with an extra year and nearly unlimited mileage warranty

So I'm replacing the rear main seal, while I have it off

What else should I replace while it's apart?

I'm also replacing all of the major AC components. Evaporator core, condenser, compressor, expansion valve, drier, all of the hose seals

I'm rolling the timing belt and water pump into the same job.

Flush clean the trans lines and cooler if the fluid was very dirty you might want to do it a few times.

The last few changes, the fluid was clean because I did it on time. I also installed an external transmission cooler cooler maybe a year and a 1/2 ago.

I will definitely flush the cooler, or, either way.

Maybe redo the oil pan sealant. Are all your internal seals good on your transfer? You can always get to the external output seals with it all back together.

When you do your valve covers if your engine is 250k or more. You may with to check your valve clearances. Probably a later project.
