Wheel Fitment

I have a stock 2000 T4R. It has 265-75-R15's on it. I am looking to upgrade to a set of 17" 2007 FJ wheels with 265-70 tires. Is there going to be any rubbing or other problems with this?

Junior, I am also new to this Forum. BUT if you have a question try the SEARCH function!!
We try to keep new threads to a minimum because there are at least 20 or more that discuss this topic.... at length!
To answer your question it should not rub and you wont have any problem with FJ wheels.

And your 2000 4runner should not have 15" wheels I think they are 16"

Good Luck with the wheels, I am also putting FJ Cruiser wheels on my 4runner. Are you going to paint them? If so check out this thread:

-15 offset?

I’ve got a stock 98 sr5 with 265/70r16s. Looking to swap out wheels to a 16x8 and eventually do a 3” lift and go with 285/75 16s. My question is, are 16x8s with a -15 offset or 3.91 backspacing going to fit?

You're gonna get rubbing. I've got 3" RC lift, I had 0* offset pro comp Ravens, with 285.75/16 toyo at3. they rubbed when backing up and turning anything past half turns. I took that size off and went back to a 265/75/16 gladiator m/t., no more rubbing.

Got any pictures, I’d like to see what the 3” lift with 265/75 16s looks like
