It looks to me that it is just the blue-yellow (if blue is what the L stands for) I think both are grounded anytime it is out of the return position and then the blue-yellow is open at the farthest.

Yes, L is Blue. Black is B.
As to the wires, maybe. Both the diagram of the switches and the function description of turning off are hard to decipher. A little trial and error is called for. Good luck.
