2 months no updates. I hope they haven't abandoned the project. Anyone know if they're still working on it? Was really looking forward to it. Thanks

I know. I was looking forward to this!! Unfortunately I had to go ahead and go with a different front bumper because I have trips planned that cover trails where I’ll need the clearance and protection, and just couldn’t wait any longer. Too bad, I was really interested in this bumper. I’m sure they’ll get it to market eventually, but it was just bad timing for me.
Again, I love the concept and preliminary design. I’ll still be following this thread and who knows maybe try to sell my other bumper eventually and move to this one ..

2 months is like 2 minutes in prototyping/development time. I wouldn't worry about it.

With all due respect to you and your own awesome designs and renowned products, I can't sit by and watch my ghastly plastic Fat Lip get more and more shredded on every off-road excursion
I went another way for now, too, but will continue follow and I will eventually own more than one 3rd Gen.....

THanks for followign along!
UPDATE
I apologize again for the slow development. I have my reasons but they don't really matter to you as potential customers. This product will come to market and I hope that my OCD over the details and long prototyping time creates a better product in the end.
Here are some updated images:

Still waiting on my new scans (annoying) to finish the wing supports for the factory bumper. Good news is that the black 96-98 bumper I just purchased was in plentiful stock from Toyota and actually quite cheap for an OEM part (I think it was $250CAD retail). We are cutting the solid recovery mount version with a wider center section this week as well as sliders for a 3rd gen and a 1G Tacoma. (this hasn't been the only project I've been working on lol) Also making the LED pod mounts for inside of the turn signal openings.
Also a sneak peak at our low-profile sliders that will be coming for the 3rd gen as well:

I love the bumper...looks so amazing. Also, awesome design and idea with the removable sliders. Have you thought of adjustable ones? for a lot of rock sliding you could tuck them in, but if a pass is really narrow to avoid fender damage you could extend them out? Just a thought, amazing work you're doing.

Looks good. I’m def in the market for something other than the stock bumper. I feel like I have a picnic table bolted on the front.

Been following this for a long time now, hopefully everything comes together soon! One question, do you plan on having an option for a grill bar on the upper bumper replacement? The peace of mind would be very nice if you happen to clip a deer on the highway.
