Need CAT federal emissions 2000 SR5

The seam in my CAT on my 2000 SR5 has a hole in it. It's a Federal emissions vehicle and I live in NY. I'm looking for recommendations for a replacement. Any info is appreciated... Thanks in advance.

Any chance to just weld up the hole?

Probably but I'd have to remove it to fix it because the hole is on the top and with 194,000 living in the rust belt I've got no idea what the rest of it is like. And I don't own a welder or know how to weld.

This may not be what you are looking for, but I have read here that MagnaFlow makes a replacement Cat for 3rd Gens for $300. It passes CA Smog, so should be fine for Federal rigs.

Hmmmm actually, there is a dizzying array:

2000 Toyota 4Runner Catalytic Converters | MagnaFlow

You might want to start the search over on the MF site - I did choose NY CARB/EPA but you may want to check my work.

Most muffler shops are MF resellers that could weld it up for $100 or less I'd guess. Support your local team

I have a Federal Emissions single CAT. It's not a CARB compliant emissions rig with two CATS. I just want a bolt on OEM style not a cut and weld type. Thanks though. I was hoping someone who's replaced one will chime in on a good brand to buy.
I'm seeing Boscal,BRE, Walker...
