Yota1 Performance ARB Air Compressor Bracket

Hey Dudes,

If you have an ARB air compressor because you have an ARB locker, maybe you just want on-board air to fill tires, or maybe for both reasons, Yota1 makes a nice bracket for the installation of your compressor in the engine compartment.

Here's the video of the install.

Sweet, been wanting to get a compressor for under the hood for some time. Seems like a lot go for the single probably for fitment issues, I wonder how it is filling up tires? My Viair 00088 takes probably 15-20 mins to fill up mine. Whats your experience? Thanks.

No experience with that ARB compressor. I use a Viair portable for my tire filling needs.

Watched a few comparison videos, the single arb compressor will definitely be faster than 15-20 mins. Especially if you have one of those 4 way hoses that attaches to all tires at the same time..

Appreciate the install video & letting us know about this bracket. I don't know how long the bracket has been out for but whish I new about it several months ago. I was wanting to get on-board air but wasn't able to find good pictures of brackets others came up with so I ended up getting a portable viair. I'm pretty sure I'll end up getting this down the line.

It just came out on the market. The one we installed was actually a prototype. Hey, I talked with Jordan and he said you guys are turning wrenches together. That's great to hear. I miss having Jordan around. We made lots of videos together.

I stuck my ARB dual compressor in the rear storage cubby. And then drilled some holes in the door for breathing and the hose quick release. I wasn't sure how strong the pocket was, so I took it out and 'welded' the pocket to the panel with some panel glue, and added a couple of small screws at the top. It's been fine for several years now. Less dust and heat back in the cubbyhole.

Yea man fun times. We need to get you and Sean down here to film some of his projects. He's got a lot more creative stuff going on with his 4runner than mine & one of the most organized garages I've ever seen. Puts me to shame.

Anyone know of the best spot to buy one of the ARB compressors? You can’t buy directly from the ARB website here in the US as far as I’m aware… right? Lots of online retailers have them, but they always seem to be marked up a significant amount, plus usually bundled with other stuff I don’t really want. Any thoughts?

i got my 'twin' ARB compressor (CKMTA12) from 4wheelparts. dunno if their pricing is exorbitant or not, any more. they also did the rear locker install for me and hooked it all up.
