Warn 33025 Front Trailer Hitch

Just a quick note to let people know this front hitch attached easily on my 3rd gen. Only thing I had to do was drill one hole on each side of the frame to thru-bolt the hitch's vertical tabs to the side of the frame. very simple. doesn't hang down low so it won't affect clearance at all.

I always wanted to do a front mount hitch. What is the part number and do you have any final pictures?

My wife had one on her '96 for a while until she put the 4XI front bumper on. We used it with a cradle mounted winch and had wiring with connectors on both ends.

Did you have the issue with not being able to install the cotter pin in the hitch pin?

I have this hitch. There are some pics in my build thread. You can find on the directory in the first post. Sorry I’m too darn lazy to look it up myself.

For sure.

I don't have any experience with the differences between factory front bumpers: do you suspect I would need to cut out a section of my "fat lip" bumper lower valence for this hitch to work? Does the "fat lip" only extend further forward, or does it also hang lower?

The photos I've seen of this hitch show it installed on the pre-'99 bumper..

Yup, saw that one a while back. And another $500 more will get you a whole steel bumper hopefully with a built in front hitch.
