BIG problem - rim colour
I'm at one of the most difficult moments in my history fixing up 4runners. My white 2000 Limited has the stock 5 star alloy rims. They were corroded so I sand blasted them off. I wanted to paint with rustoleum appliance epoxy paint since it is reported to be the best against uv and tough. It comes in white, silver and black. I prefer silver, like stock. Problem is, no one has silver. So I hummed and hawed and decided I'd take a chance and just go with white to match the car. I don't like black rims. I finish painting 2 of them and then I go to the store to buy another can and what did I see, they finally got a bunch of silver in!!!! ARGGGHHHH!!!
Now what do I do???? Risk painting over the white with silver on 2 rims or just finish the other 2 in white???? I cant find pics of a white 3rd gen with white rims.

Sandblast the two white rims again and paint all four rims silver.

If you are going to slam it with low pros, make them white, otherwise silver or black wheels for the 4x4 4runner imo.

It's literally a $5 rattle can. Just scuff and repaint silver.

Oh well, too late. On the mountain bike forum they said to go with white so I painted the third one white today. I guess I'll have to live with it, maybe it will look nice you never know. I'll post pics later. I'm going to put on 265/75R16 Toyo open Country AT3's.
Worst case, $100 for a new set of rims to paint silver.

Best move. Finish with white, and give it some time to see what you think. Easy to change later if you want.
Post pics, too.

White. There are tons of 4runners with silver or black rims.
