Wow, good find, I'm surprised nobody has commented on this yet...

Funny enough, I was just thinking about this a couple days ago, "what will I do if electric vehicles become mandated, or combustion vehicles become too expensive to own", I think this is the answer. EV 4Runner. Although, I question the "professionality" of the shop that did this... looks a little hacked together. Instead of putting a motor in the rear that drives the rear wheels, they have an electric motor going to a standard transmission, and basically a normal power train to the rear, which seems like a waste to me.

Anyways... Those battery packs, when too low are a pain to fix, this guy makes it sound like it just like changing some AA Batteries. Each cell, in many cases, has to be removed, and individually trickle charged, and that's assuming that they have the chance of being recovered, many get to the point of no return after sitting so long.

That's how most conversion companies do the electric conversion.
