I don't have and don't need a cargo cover and so I would like to remove the brackets for the cover. Did toyota make these without the cover on low-option vehicles? If so did they have deletes that went in place of the brackets? Part numbers?

I've never see anything like a cargo cover mount delete until I read bandits build thread... page 52... he made them himself & I think he's selling them???

Thanks RNR. Yeah, something like that would be even better. The way I read his post was that the original mounts were for sale.

That's good though, I'll think about what I can do without a welder. Maybe the right thickness channel and some kind of plastic cover.

Hi Larry, Im in the opposite situation my 4runner 3er gen does not come with cargo cover and it has no brackets so I cant fit it even if i buy it. but I need to cover the cargo area. I would love to exchange the cargo side covers with you but i think we are not geographically close, I live in Chile (where time ago we did not need cargo cover hahaha)
