I've never heard of AniraMotors, but they seem a little on the cheaper end of the spectrum. Yotashop is a reputable shop, but on the high side if you're trying to replace all 6 (which I would recommend). There's a lot of people that have used these MotorWest injectors Denso Fuel Injector Upgrade Set for 3.4L V6 4Runner Tacoma and Tundra – HP831 – MotorWest Performance without a problem. $240 for all 6 seems like a good middle ground pricewise. They are "upgraded" injectors.

I agree with Patrick. I would suggest you get a full set of injectors from Motowest Performance. I've met the owner Martin Diaz in person and he's a good dude and stands behind his product. He offers a lifetime warranty for the injectors he sells. We used Motorwest injectors in the video below.

You can buy the stuff and rebuild them yourself. My build and repair thread shows how to do it.

Did this in my build thread somewhere as well.. cost a can of carb cleaner and like 20-30$ for the rebuild kit. They don’t make all the little parts oem anymore so you gotta get it off eBay. Toyota still sells the o-rings/seals but not the filters/Pintle caps (as far as I could find anyways..)

I ran the motor west rebuilds with no issue, not sure if the price listed is still current. a few years back they would then give you back $60 for your old ones. Or you could send yours to them and it was less than buying the ones ready to go.
I too have "rebuilt" some in the past, but no way for me to know if flow matched, but I had no issues......but those were on a BMW and on a volvo

Thanks for the info everybody. (Bad Luck, you’ve steered me right a couple times before so thank you extra)
One other related (novice) question - when doing the injectors, is it best to also do the valve cover gaskets? Am I causing a lot more work for later if I skip the valve cover gaskets during the injector install? I realize they are unrelated - it’s just that my gaskets are leaking and due for maintenance, but I can drive with the gaskets the way they are but I can’t drive with the injectors the way they are right now.

You are already most of the way there by the time you pull the injectors, midswell do valve cover gaskets as well IMO.. Basically you’ll end up doing most of what your doing twice if you wait.
Yeah I figured as much. Ok thank you. Might as well do everything I guess
I would definitely recommend doing the valve cover gaskets while doing the injectors. It’s not a difficult job but it is time consuming and there is a considerable amount of overlap in the jobs so it certainly makes sense to do both jobs at the same time if both repairs are needed.
I went OEM with all parts when I did my valve cover gaskets and have zero issues. Some have gone with aftermarket parts and also report no issues so the choice is yours....all about comfort level and available funds.
Several great write-ups available with video/pictures. I basically looked at all of them and had no problems.
Take your time, label parts during disassembly and take pics.
It gives you an opportunity to clean up your engine bay, especially after living with leaky valve cover gaskets.

see I did it backwards to what people above have posted.
I had 200+k miles...needed to do the vc gaskets....so I then added injectors to it as preventative...since I was so far into it.

Currently I’m getting misfires in Cylinder 3 and Cylinder 4, so unless 2 coils went bad at the same time, it’s probably not the coils, and since I need new valve cover gaskets anyway, and the engine has 275,000 miles with mostly original parts, it seems like a good time to do all the injectors, plus plugs and wires. Unless there’s something I’ve missed. O2 sensors and plugs/wires were done 70,000 miles ago.
So kind of like your scenario 3bears. Which injectors did you get?

Might be worth troubleshooting the misfire before dropping $ on valve cover gaskets.. you can move plugs/coils around and see if the misfire moves. If it does you found your problem, if not you know those things are probably good and to focus on other items to fix misfire. Might be worth renting (free) a compression tester from orielly/autozone too..

If you're chasing a misfire I would recommend replacing spark plugs and wires first before ordering injectors. It sounds like you're due to replace spark plugs and wires anyways, and that may be your issue.
