You guys and your line condoms... Great ideas though.. I prefer the sealed off line like I suggested. My method cant fall off or leak if something goes wrong.
The slight brake pressure by 2X4 is a good idea as well. I just had those move get bumped and slide out in time.
They also make an adjustable pole in place of a 2X4
You have to realize, Sometimes Its a long time before repair as my fleet of 5 only has 1 or 2 on the road at a time.
So I always look for the long term solution to any issue.
Whatever you do, don't use the latex or nitrile gloves to try to seal off a gas line or brake line as they will not work. I learned that the hard way. Years ago.
