ABS toggle switches

The two OTRATTW switches on the left turn my ABS system on and off. The mod was installed by the previous owner and I’ve never really used it, but might as well keep it since he went through the trouble of putting it in. The issue is I’m out of blank spaces for switches and I need somewhere to put the switch for my arb compressor. I’m not experienced with electrical so I don’t know how hard it would be to find a switch that combines the two ABS switches. So it would be;

Position 1: Both off
Position 2: First switch (lower one) on
Position 3: Both on

Another thing:
You’ll notice in the picture that both switches are on, and in that situation the abs system is on. I want the abs system on 99% of the time, but when I get in I always inadvertently hit the lower switch with my knee. It would be easy to change which way is on and which way is off, right?

Thanks

I know this isn't really related by why/how the hell is your mirror adjustment up there What's on the door panel then?? Or is this just something different between years?
In regards to moving switches you should be able to pop that out pretty easily once that trim piece is off. Unfortunately it doesn't look like you have/they used the removable switch panels that usually go there so I have a feeling you'll have a gaping hole there afterwards

You could ditch those two switches and consolidate into something much cleaner, like one toggle switch. Looks like the the previous owner accomplished his goal, but not in a very logical way.

Here's what I did:

OTRATTW parts:
1. Switch:
SKU: V1D2UXXB- Contura V Upper and Lower LED Independent rocker switch

2. Switch rocker cover:
SKU: VVAXCYT-HAH - Contura II – custom text rocker switch, rocker only. Top line ABS on, Bottom Line ABS off

Wired it up to cut power to the ABS module. 1 Relay for logic, 1 relay for power cut to the module.
Now it’s a LED-lit toggle switch. LED appears on the top or bottom, in the position it’s in (off or on)

Here it is in action:

The previous owner put the mirror control there when he swapped to manual windows. When I switched back I put the master window switch in, with the mirror adjustment control, but I haven’t switched the wires back over yet. I’m not sure if the extremely small number of 3rd gens with OEM manual windows came with power mirrors, but if they did it makes sense that the double-wide spot on the dash would be there for those controls.

As to the switches, I’m not looking to move them so much as consolidate two switches into one, and then put the ARB switch where one of the two OTRATTW switches was. So I’m not going to need one of the blanks that were originally there.

This is exactly the kind of solution I’m looking for. However, I don’t think a two-throw ‘on/off’ switch would work with the way it was wired. For the abs to be on, both switches have to be up/on, and vice versa for it to be off. I think your solution would work if only one of them was on at a time, right?

The other thing is that I’m not really sure how it’s wired to the abs module and I know there are definitely a few different ways of doing it, so I’m not actually 100% sure what each switch is doing, though I do know the bottom one turns off the speedometer.

@WeakSauz mind if you share how you wired this up? Been looking for a switch to shut it off as abs has almost killed me off road a few times.

Me too. This is on my list to figure out a one-switch, on-the-fly ABS toggle (that preserves speedometer functionality), but if @WeakSauz has already done the heavy lifting…
