02 key fob no worky

New cr 2016 battery. I think I heard somewhere that you have to do some kind of thing like lock the door, push the break pedal down a number of times, turn the key on a number of times, splash Holy water on the dashboard, and recite Satin be gone three times. Is this true?

Nah that won't work, you have to wait for the summer solstice... duh

Also... if you have bad power locks they might get stuck and stop moving halfway when you cycle them. If this happens just start over and manually assist the locks up and down as you push the button. (Most actuators on our trucks are pretty weak so this is a common issue)

I cycled my door locks just my pushing and pulling the door lock knobs manually. You shouldn't have to be pushing the power lock buttons on the master switches to get into the programing mode.
Unless you have a bad cylinder lock electronic switch.
