Tacoma wheel fits 4Runner?

I am trying to replace the spare tire on my '99 4Runner. I found a rim with tire from a 2005 Tacoma, that I can get for free. From what I found online (which I failed to bookmark), it appears that the lug bolt patterns are the same.

Before I invest 90 minutes of driving, can someone confirm that a 2005 Tacoma 16" wheel will fit my 1999 4Runner SR5 that has 16" wheels?

Thanks in advance.

Not sure what you mean by "Which wheel?", and I have no idea what the particular brand or model names of the rims is. The spare has a steel rim. The regular rims are aluminum.

Those wheels should fit just fine - they will likely have a slightly higher offset (suck the wheel in a bit), but unless you are running oversized tires that won't be an issue.

Thanks. I should have clarified that my driving rims are OEM aluminum. The tire on the spare that I will get is slightly narrower, with a higher aspect ratio, but I calculated the overall diameter to be close enough to be used for a spare.

Long story how I got here now to replace this spare, but it has been bugging me for a while, not having a spare that is safe and reliable.
