Driver door window switches

My driver window switches seem to be dying a slow death. It started with the rear passenger window. Took the switch apart and cleaned all the switch contacts and it worked for a while. Then it started working intermittently again. Then the rear driver side started working intermittently and now the front passenger is being touchy. The switches on each door work flawlessly but the switches on the driver door are intermittent. Does the whole switch panel need replaced or does this seem like something else?

Sounds Like the driver door switch needs replaced to me. Probably a problem with the switch contacts

Try taking apart the switches on the individual doors and cleaning them, that’s what fixed mine when I was having the same issue

I took the rubber loom protector off between the door and the body and the wires all looked fine. I also took out one of the rear switches and couldn't get it apart to clean it. I just didn't want to break the tabs. I'm thinking about just getting a new driver switch panel. I've seen them on eBay for like $20 but I'm skeptical. Anyone had luck with them? I'd rather not drop $400 on a new OEM one since I'm kind of playing parts darts here. I'm currently on a long road trip so I can't dig in too deep right now.

If you're on a road trip, look up junkyards near your current location and grab a used oem one out of a wrecked truck

I took apart the master switch panel again and cleaned up all the switch contacts. All the switches are working for now but everything had a build up of black sooty stuff on it again. I'm not sure if that build up is normal but I guess I can keep taking it apart every couple of months and cleaning it. Makes me wonder if there's something wrong in the circuit board that's somehow causing the black buildup on the contacts.

Id keep my eye open for a spare even if yours is working now. At prices your saying...maybe I should keep my eye out for a spare too.
Used to be some guy who advertised on ebay.....switch doctor....lock doctor...cant remeber...but he sold aftermarket switches pretty cheap...at least for a bmw I had.
