Working FSM Link 1996-2002
I know there are many of them out there but I found one that works great. So I figured I'd post it up for anyone looking for one to have. I'll try to embed the link in this post but here is also the link to where I got it: https://www.tundrasolutions.com/foru...ervice-manual/
EDIT: This is specifically for an 02 4runner but many of the aspects are the same. I will not go into the differences in this thread because it has been covered many times before on this forum. I have a 1997, but work on 96-02 4runners and this has been a large help working on all the trucks I have wrenched on. If I knew how to edit the title I would. Thanks for everyone that has responded thus far!

I actually used this one for printing out at the office. It took me forever b/c I didn't want to print it all at once and look suspicious. I printed it all, front and back pages, over the course of a weeks time
2 huge binders later....

I'll load this to my computer at work tomorrow evening and compare it to the ISO I have from a bunch of years ago in html format. Sadly that version is a 2002 and some things are not valid on my 97. Engine hard parts and chassis are about all that's useful so far. And this PDF is showing a fat lip 3rd gen.

Without a decent indexing scheme, that link is of limited use. I prefer this one, which is broken down by nested sections/chapters:
https://www.ether3al.com/runner96-02fsm/
It's good if you plan to print it out, but I have the actual books for my year. Always good to have a backup., though.

Thanks Durk! I knew this one was floating around I just wasn’t able to find it. I appreciate you adding it to here.

Check the torque specs on these as I found some discrepancies in the torque specs for front suspension components

good stuff, it's nice to have options.
FWIW, the PDF in the OP is text searchable, which can be convenient too.

So this is for a 2002, which is hosted on a variety of sites/Toyota forums across the web. Title should read '2002 FSM'
There are a variety of changes throughout each model year. The 2002 doesn't have 4 cylinder and manual trans info. Fuel tanks changed mid year 2000 for example.
You'd need to find a FSM for your particular year to be certain of troubleshooting methods.

Exactly why I mentioned it earlier in this thread. I love having it on a disk (ISO version) for work related to the engine. Timing belt, heads, valve covers, etc.
