What else to replace when doing motor swap?

I'm sure this has been typed up somewhere but searching failed me. Can anyone link me to an extensive replace list for parts when swapping in remanned 5vz? Looking for reliability. Truck has 300k and head gasket is leaking.

Already planning on doing fan, fan bearing, radiator, all hoses, plugs wires etc for ignition, alternator, sensors (nox, o2, etc) but kind of drawing a blank after that.

Also as far as exhaust goes, any suggestions? I don't really care to get the mega-massive 5hp boost from making it sound like a bee-hive, but would an actual header be better than the exhaust manifold?

Thanks everyone!

One thing I regret is not putting a header on mine during the reman swap.

Probably the motor mounts if it's clunking.

Just did these on mine with the motor in the truck. Never again. 100% do them while the motor is out.

I would replace all the engine oil seals while the engine is out. If needed the timing belt.

Thank you guys, appreciate the suggestions. It's a complete reman so it'll have all seals and timing belt etc all done already. I will definitely do motor mounts, that's a great idea. As far as the header, will that increase my noise a whole lot? I don't want it to sound like a bee-hive, I plan on keeping the stock muffler.

Curious what you paid for that reman? Are you getting it from the dealership?

Ah.. yes complete reman should be good to just drop in. your exhaust and its flanges good? As I agree that one header pipe is a pita to change without pulling the engine out or removing the transmission.
