Really? It's just a couple clicks from the main page (Home > Hood Struts > '96-02 4Runner) - '96-'02 4Runner ULTIMATE Lift Hood Strut Kit - Spiker Engineering

Easy peasy .

Edited to add: Or maybe you meant that you couldn't find them on Amazon's site?

I installed these last night (ordered from Amazon). Installation was easy, took about an hour (should take less time, but it took me 10+ minutes to find my rivet gun, couldn't find my punch (used a nail), and I did this with my son so we took our time). I did have to move the windshield washer tube, but I just zip tied it out of the way. Other than that, super easy and great kit, highly recommended!

just installed the kit.

Instructions are clear, kit is simple and well fit. It's normal to have 5 rivets and there are 6 holes total, since you use only 2 of the 3 holes per brackets, and there is one spare rivet just in case.

Love it! More room to work and don't have to dirty my hands on that metal crutch everytime I check the fluids. Didn't need to use a permanent marker to localize the holes on this particular 4runner hehe.

Are those particular struts a pain to deal with as a vendor?

The OEM Toyota ones have gone down in price recently. I bought a set last year. Comes with the new bushings.

Yep, those end fittings are a pain, it would require a large number of units to make it economically sound. So yeah, stick with OEM or the Strongarm 6815.

Highly recommend these!

Make sure to watch your windshield wiper fluid line the first time you open your hood after install. I was a fool and snapped mine... 100% my fault.

Didn't know about those when I did the Strongarm struts. The remnants of the original bushings i used make a helluva racket and the wife can barely close it with one hand! I'd like to find an OEM bushing kit without buying the whole shebang. I'll eventually do the Lowe's bushing mod...

The stock washer tube can be reused up to about +5" to +6" height. Higher than that, you'll typically need to use a slightly longer length of washer tubing.

Or you can go a little nuts and reroute the washer tubing to be more elegant, like the newer Tacos, so it's tucked away nicely instead of having a big loop.

So what's the inventory status on these? Amazon shows them as "Currently Unavailable." Are they in stock and available to ship from https://spikerengineering.com ??

Don't even get me started on Amazon FBA.... It's a long and sordid tale that I am still dealing with, and depending on the outcome, we may or may not go back to Amazon.

Until then, yes, we are fully stocked and ready to ship at Home - Spiker Engineering. You won't get Prime delivery, but you also won't have to deal with Prime nightmares .

Based on past experience, it may take Amazon a few weeks to actually show the units as "available" - which is part of the reason why the whole thing is on double secret probation in my book. Fingers crossed.
