Camelback Trouble

Anyone ever had trouble with Camelback parts orders? I ordered the parts to do the steering rack guide. The invoice lists the correct parts, but in the box, instead of the guide sub assy, they had one of the grommets for the rack.
I’ve tried calling and leaving a vm, sent messages via the contact portion of the website, and sent an email with a pic of the invoice and the parts showing the labeled part numbers.
They haven’t responded at all. It seems like the contact info is all related to the “online sales” portion (Toyota parts factory) of the camelback dealership.
All I know to do now is start calling the parts dept of the dealership.

I am thinking all the Toyota parts departments are in a major bind at the moment.

I talk to Camelback in the past over the phone. The supervisor and parts guys are pleasant and friendly. However, all things related to internet orders got funneled to this one guy there.
He was different, no people skills, I went elsewhere for my parts.

I've also only dealt with them once... wasn't a terrible experience, but wasn't great either so I moved on.

Be the squeaky wheel.... that person that complains on all their social medial platforms, calls several times a day, etc... whatever it takes to get someone to resolve the issue. My favorite line to use in these situations is "I don't just a business by if things go wrong, that happens to everyone. I just based on how they Deal with what went wrong... be a positive example". The positive examples keep my business, the negatives ones pretty much show me right then and their that I just need to make a dispute with my credit card company and move on with life.

Hope they step up, but YOU have to make yourself heard (to them). Phone is always #1, online options a very distant #2. If parts dept aren't handling it over the phone, move it over to the general manager... then start talking with Toyota about this dealership and your experiences.

Good news, guys!
They called me back this afternoon. Better late than never. Maybe they read our forum. Anyway he’s sending the right part out today.

I talked to my local Toyota parts department today. Still a nightmare for getting parts as many of them are backed ordered.
However, I never have issues with the department not following through or helping me out.
The supply issue has nothing to do with them. It's just were we are at point of time. I am hoping things improve shortly.

They went downhill about 2 years ago. I hated switching because my orders used to arrive next day sometimes from them, but since they took the Tacoma World discount away (it was only 5% anyway), took free shipping away, and wouldn’t match another dealership’s price (McGeorge), I have no reason to use them anymore.
