hntz4x4 will become famous soon enough
Am I missing anything? Shop work.

I am taking my 4runner into Stellar Built next week to have them remove the broken piece of CV axle in the passenger side of front axle. Also, they will inspect everything (gears and locker). I am having them install new CVJ axles, Duro-bumps front diff bracket bushings, new Overland Custom Designs front sway bar links. I have new RCI front and trans skid plates to install also.

Is there anything else I am missing that I should address while they are in there?

Thanks,
Ryan

P.S. I thought I was going to do a SAS, but that didn't work out.

Have any idea of the age or mileage on the LBJ's?

My .02 on the LBJ's. If you don't know, just get new ones...

Have them check upper and lower ball joints, inner and outer tie rod ends. Did the cv axle break off inside the axle housing? If so, are they planning on removing and disassembling it to get it out? I popped a cv shaft out of a Passat once and the stub shaft ripped out of the inner cv joint cup and stayed in the transaxle. I drilled and tapped the broken off piece and pulled it out with a slide hammer.

Yes it broke off in the housing. Yes they are removing/disassembling.

About 50K on LBJ, 5K on uppers. I will have them check TRE's.

If the broken off end of the cv shaft is anywhere near the axle seal it can be drilled out, tapped out to 3/8" or 10mm, have a bolt screwed into it and be popped out easily with a slide hammer.
