5th Gen Limited Wheels on 2000 4x4

Picked the 20" limited wheels up on CL for a sweet price. A little bigger than I wanted but think it will look right when I intall a 3" lift. Any thoughts appreciated...

Wow at first glance that looks like a 5th Gen haha. Really distinctive wheels so they define the ride. I thought 20's would look silly but I quite like them!

That looks pretty cool. You should plasti dip them and post results back up here. Lift it and fit 33s and come back. that would be a very cool combo.

Love it, thats what I'd like to do to my wifes 2wd since its a pavement pounder, really modernizes the look.

Looks great and will look even better once it is in the air a bit.

Though if your gonna be in the dirt much at all that may provide a bit of a rough ride.

Sadly they look better on yours than on the 5th gens IMHO. Not my cup of tea, but unless you are really wanting that lift, I like it as is.

At first thought, I thought it would look too big for the 3rd gen, but as I keep looking at it, the more and more I like it.

I agree with the above poster, I think they look better on yours than a 5th gen.

I've considered buying those wheels used, to put on my 3rd gen. I like the look as the truck sits. I don't think it needs a lift.

plasti-dip would ruin the nice chrome shine of these rims imo.

I thought at first this would look ugly, actually looks pretty decent.

Like a dress on a man. Lol

Does lose a little of the natural ruggedness the 3rd gens have.

I was def worried the 20" didn't have the right look for the 3rd gen but happy with the decision!

Have used the plasti-dip before and haven't had much luck with it staying on. I think the silver in the wheels matches up pretty good with the silver two tone paint.

Thanks for all the feedback! I def agree it looks better on mine than 5th gen. Gonna lift it when I have some money saved up just to get a little less tucked in look. I have considered taking the steps off but can't decide how that would look?
