Anything more than cosmetic damage?

I unfortunately "rear ended" a '19 Prius this morning. He was backing out of his driveway into a 35mph zone. Geico says he's at fault and is filing a claim with his insurance to at least get my Runner inspected. At the scene I assumed there was no damage. I took a closer look when I got home and see the bumper has been pushed in a bit with some additional pieces affected.

As far as front end work, I have recently done the timing belt, water pump, radiator, tstat, hoses and belts, LBJs, OTREs, TBU, shocks and coils. Just had an alignment done 2 days ago. Seems to be driving alright but I can hear a clicking noise on the passenger side that wasn't there before.

I've heard of unseen damage being found after a bumper hit like this. Anything I should be aware of or on the lookout for, especially when dealing with his insurance? Or should I just hit with my purse and get on with life?

If I had to take a guess perhaps the plastic splash shield in the wheel well got screwed up and is making that noise - just a guess though. Or at least something minor like that. All in all I would highly suspect it just to be cosmetic, maybe gave your radiator a nice bonk but if your body is looking that clean then I would be very surprised if something mechanical is damaged. The bumper moving backears shouldn't be too much of a shock, they're essentially designed to in a crash and the mounts themselves are pretty flimsy to begin with. If you really want to you could take it all off, inspect the mounts and attempt to straighten them out again and it might sit normal again

It is cosmetic, just support parts to be replaced. I do like how some insurances have 'lifetime' warranties on repairs if you take it to one of their 'listed' shops, they are usually pretty good shops not 'mom/pop' type, so you may consider that.

It will look Good as New!

As he was at fault I'm not against having his insurance company pay to get things looking normal again.

Part of me feels like I'm being petty over a 25 year old car but hey, it wasn't damaged before and now it is. It's never going to look good as new but I'll take not looking like someone backed into it!
