2000 t4r injector question

hey guys, my 2000 t4r has 261k on the odometer and runs pretty good. i have no codes set by the ecm but sometimes i do notice a flat spot in acceleration. i wanted to either buy new injectors or have a reputable shop service them. does anyone have any experience with these?

thanks

Motor West

I used the injectors from Motor West. I have a 2000 Limited 4wd with 310k miles. I started experiencing some misfires and narrowed it down to one injector. I wanted to replace all of them at the same time. Noted issues with the OEM brown ones so looked for a better solution.

Here is the link for the Denso ones I used and extremely happy with.

Denso Fuel Injector Upgrade Set for 3.4L V6 4Runner Tacoma and Tundra – HP831 – MotorWest Performance

Lots of dudes go with the motorwest ones, but I personally went with Yota1's injectors since they're very reputable and they were cheaper, but had a core charge. I was having a pretty significant but intermittent misfire but leading up to that I was having a similar symptom as you. I would start with ruling out some other things, like spark plugs and wires, just to narrow it down a bit to injectors, which is what I ultimately came to. I installed them myself, 3 hour job and wasn't crazy hard, just lots of taking things apart and remembering what goes back.
